random weekend

Hey guys, Sorry I haven't been doing the month in pictures. I'm kinda bored with it. I suck. Sorry. I really don't have anything else to say about it.

Anyway, so my family came to visit this weekend. It was great! I wish I would of taken some pictures, but I guess there wasn't anytime. We went to a million stores and just sorta hung out. In fact, it was a pretty random weekend.

I am also happy to announce that my new Canon EOS Rebel XSI will be here in a few days. I think I might have died and gone to heaven. Prepare for a much more entertaining blog.

Oh, and the whole thing with putting Wyatt in his own bed, I did it half way for one night. I got to 4 am and then I just put him in bed with me. I was waking up every hour or so and it was torture. I'm going to try again tonight. I MIGHT start formula soon. I'm probably going to do both formula and nurse. I just don't know what the right ratio of formula and breast milk to give. I think that I might want to give formula at night to keep Wyatt fuller during the night, but then I think I don't want to get up and make a bottle. Does anyone have any advice on this? And I'm worried about losing my milk supply during the day/night... depending on when I decide to nurse. Help me!

Also, I have started Weight Watchers again. I've done it for 5 days now and have already lost 3.1 pounds. Yes, POINT ONE. I count every single number. I'm really looking forward to getting back into shape and hopefully I can be on the right path before summer. We have an amazing pool here and I'd like to lay out a little bit.

I think I want my hair like this again.

  1. Maybe you could try doing the month in pictures just on sundays! A lot of the blogs I read do it that way.. They just do seven pictures one day :)

I started breastfeeding-bottle feeding around seven months. It just got too hard to feed him all the time. I think its great that you are breast feeding though! I think that it helped aidyn so much! :)

Hope you had a blessed weekend!

  2. You could pump a big bottle for him at night instead of giving formula, then you wouldn't have to worry about supply I guess---My daughter stopped nuring at night around 5 months. I get really worried about supply and I don't want to buy formula--I would go broke--keep breastfeeding :-)

  3. JKL - I don't really WANT to give him formula, but I do want him to be fuller. I give him baby food now too to help with that. I think I will start pumping again. I used to do it but I found it to be useless since I feed him on demand and was just freezing milk for no reason. I ended up throwing out a bunch of breast milk when I moved (I KNOW! GASP!). anyway, i think i might try that. I'm just worried about the whole bottle thing since my son isn't a big fan of a big plastic nipple (I can only hope he avoids plastic breasts in the future too).
