day 2 of the shred

The second day of the 30 Day Shred was very painful. My legs were killing me. And now that I've completed it, walking is very difficult. I think I may need to take an ibuprofen. I'm going to do it everyday for 30 days though, I swear. I might not update about it though because I'm pretty sure you guys don't want to hear about how I did the Shred every frickin' day.

Anyway, last night Wyatt went to bed at 6:30 again. It sucks when he does that. Oh, and let me mention that because of his very early bedtime, he woke up at 3:30 AM! Wide awake and all. Luckily my husband works nights so he was awake in the living room (he's on leave right now and likes to stay on his schedule). So I had some company while I was awake with Wyatt for an hour. I'm pretty tired.

So the newness of our apartment has worn off. It is officially a pig sty. I just never clean it. There is a huge pile of dishes in the sink, and I just can't seem to get the motivation to do them. Mostly because that would involve taking all the clean dishes that are in currently in the dishwasher, out. I know I need to be better at this, but I guess I just don't care? Well I care enough to blog about it.


  1. WAY TO GO! I know how you felt! I could not walk DOWN the steps. I was in serious pain..

    But wait til day 5.. You'll be stronger, and it'll feel SOOO much better. I swear its only in the beginning.

    Level 2 is sucky.. and wonderful! I sweat like a mofo, but it feels SOOO good afterwards!

  2. I can't go to bed with dirty dishes--it's one of my ocd things, want me to come over and do yours? just kiddin' I put loud music on when I clean my house--it seems to make it more fun.
