Banana Ice cream

Hey all! My friend is gone and we've just been hanging out, napping all day. Wyatt and I were so beat. We napped from 2 to 5:30! I'm scared now that Wyatt isn't going to sleep tonight. Oh, and we pretty much have to start over on the sleep training thing. I just didn't feel like listening to screaming and I didn't want to disturb my friend and her baby in the next room. So, yeah... back to square one.

OH, and I have 137 posts to read in my google reader. Next time I take a break, can you guys take a break too? It'll make it much much easier for me. K, THANX.

Anyway, I have a GENIUS recipe to share with you all. It would be great for all of those gluten free peeps out there. It's soft serve ice cream, only without the cream and sugar.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Bananas!

Make sure to use spotted, ripe bananas for this recipe.

Chop up all the bananas into medallions and freeze for a few hours. Then blend up in a processor or blender. You could add peanut butter or whatever flavoring you'd like. I'd imagine you could add some vanilla or even chocolate syrup. I added cinnamon. Look at how refreshing and delicious it looks! This is THE BEST health food ever.

  3. I will do this. Bananas have been how I sweeten things for Elijah! like in batters and stuff. This is perfect for him and myself. He has a dairy allergy. A slight one anyway. (I had it too as an infant). I never thought of making icecream out of banana! This is great for a teething baby too! Nice and cool treat for the gums!

  16. These pictures would look awesome, except for the fact I have this weird, neurotic, extreme fear of lots of small circles near each other. So that HD-quality picture of rasberries is going to haunt my dreams tonight! D:

And I feel you, this past month of travel has left me SO behind on my RSS reader, I'm going to have to declare bankruptcy and start over soon. Google reader only counts up to 1000, but i probably have way more than that in there! @_@
