Dieting revelation

Always snapping shots at the back of his head.

A few minutes after I woke up, realizing that Wyatt as STILL napping. Love that.
Looking, not so mean. More like a bum. I wear my PJs out. I don't care.
I'm really thinking these Starbucks cold brews are my ticket to coffee in the morning. An entire packet is 100 calories - better than the 650 calories I was drinking in half and half. I might just do a half a packet a day.

My rest day was taken very seriously yesterday. In that I mean that I literally did nooooooootttttttttthing. Like, I even got in a 2.5 hour nap. Holla. It was really nice. Let's see how I feel after my work out today though.

Interesting concept for you -

My husband must of REALLY wanted a cheat meal, so much in fact that he researched reasons to why he should have one. Well, what he discovered through the internet, which we all know is never wrong, is that having a cheat meal once a week is no big deal. The reasoning behind this is because unless you plan on living your entire life never cheating on your diet, then a cheat meal could possibly sabotage your weight loss. But, we all know that eventually we will cave in to birthday cake, nachos, candy, whatever... and since we all know that it WILL happen eventually, allowing yourself one cheat meal a week will make your DIET not a diet. Because you know you'll be able to have SOMETHING that you wanted later that week.

Now, if you know me, this goes against everything I was believing in. I felt like I needed to have a handle on food because it was just food and it cannot control me - but then when I fall, I fall so hard! So it got me thinking, I know that I'm not going to live my life never having pizza again, and since it's just a matter of time before I have pizza again, why not just schedule my pizza and eat amazingly during the week. I realize that this is a way of life for some people and I haven't discovered anything new, but this is a new revelation for me. Because I am in fact a dieting psycho. But, I'm a psycho that feels defeated and self-depreciates when I fail. So I really want to change that.

For my cheat meal yesterday (because I'm not going to have a cheat day, just a meal) was a chicken salad with all the works from Chipotle. Because it's probably one of my favorite things in this LIFE besides TGIFriday's Bruschetta chicken pasta. Anyway, so I had the salad (that included cheese, sour cream, and rice) and I stopped for a Starbucks Tall breve sugar free latte (I kill for it). And that was my cheat meal! (Josh's was an entire large dominoes pizza. Men.)
