Okay, so don't hate me. I have decided to stop doing The Shred. In hopes of encouraging my husband to get back into shape (he's gained 30lbs since he's been home from deployment!) I'm going to be doing p90x with him. I know, I know... I feel kinda bad about it, but I was sort of starting to think that the work out wasn't really for me. Not that I'm like in super shape or anything, but I really want to feel challenged during my work out. Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred is an EXCELLENT work out program, but I have some serious goals and drive and I'm thinking I want to literally kick my own ass.
So, as I type this - Josh and I are going out with a bang (do you do this?) we're eating Dominoes pizza and drinking beer (well he is, I'm not a beer drinker) and we MIGHT have gotten Five Guys for lunch earlier too. We're going to be super strict for as long as we can (or at least until Josh loses the weight he wants to lose) and doing p90x 5-6 times a week. I'm actually really really excited about this! I always feel extra motivated having Josh on my side, because when he's not, it's really hard to stay on track.
And I'll definitely be posting with my progress, but I obviously won't be linking up with the rest of the Shred girls. I feel like a quitter sorta, but I'm actually just upping my game. If any of you want to do p90x, let me know! I'd love to see your progress pictures too. :)
