This is what our day looked like yesterday.
I feel like Wyatt is learning things faster these days. Yesterday he learned the word "cheese" and the word "jump" (and he's really into jumping in general). For so long I've been really scared about his development. It's so easy to get caught up in the milestones drama. I don't even look at babycenter.com because I'm scared of reading something I'm not going to want to hear. I really think Wyatt has been at his own special pace since birth, and I don't mean slow. Just he does his own thing. Like for instance, he knows certain words but just out and out refuses to say them when asked. And then he'll just walk into the room and say, "Mama?" So brain boggling!!! I swear, he's just as stubborn and free spirited as me. He has no desire to please people, and just likes to do things for himself. I'm embracing his independent nature and I believe he'll be an incredibly strong and interesting individual because of it.
