California living has been different. It's almost like culture shock for a small town living east coaster like myself. Everywhere I turn I see characters and interesting things that I would probably never see back home. Not that I've lived under a rock or anything, but seeing a mannequin with GINORMOUS breasts in the mall, and not even ironically is very weird!
Sometimes I look around and remind myself that this is NOT a vacation... because you know, seeing palm trees and fruit growing in people's yards will sometimes make you feel like that.
My in-laws have an ORANGE TREE. LIKE, WHAAAA? That's just crazy to me!
