Again, we went hiking. This time my friend Julie from Wrongway Peachfuzz came with her 4 girls. SO MANY KIDS. A lot of people probably wouldn't even attempt to go hiking with 5 kids, let alone 1 kid, but we did it. We took a lot of breaks, passed out so many snacks, had a few time outs on the ground, and so much carrying of the littler ones. I'm not sure if it was worth it, but what I've come to realize now that Wyatt is 3- if I wait for a babysitter/random family member to watch Wyatt then I'm probably just not going to be able to do anything. So we usually pack up our kid and go out and do whatever, despite the whining and crying. I like to think that eventually the crying will stop and things will run smoothly, but I'm probably wrong.
All in all, I'm pretty impressed with these kids. Yes, it did take us around 4 hours to hike 2.5 hours, but whatever! We saw nature and rocks and plants and shit. They liked it.
