((Please don't fret- he wasn't playing in the running water for too long.))
I try to get Wyatt involved in as much stuff as I'm doing as possible because - 1. takes away the mom guilt and 2. he might learn a thing or two. I let him "help" me with dishes yesterday and it went as expected. He learned about how a sponge can soak up water and he practiced letting it soak in the water and then squeezing the water out. I have no idea what kind of lesson that is, but it's all over pinterest so I figure someone knows something I don't. He told me it's just like SpongeBob. So there you go, America. That's the montessori lesson my 3.5 year old learned from doing the dishes. A sponge soaks up water like SpongeBob Squarepants.
After I was done the dishes he insisted on playing for a little bit more, so I let him (just a little bit, I swear! Shoo judgers!). I couldn't resist taking some pictures of him with my very, very dusty DSLR (ha, oh hey, that's right. I used to like to take pictures).
I hope everyone is having an awesome Friday! We're finally through another week! Did it go by fast for you like it did for me?
