Moonshine will make you very, very drunk.

I failed to mention that I had went on a trip a few weeks ago to visit family. Wyatt and I flew out to Maryland and stayed with my Grandpa for his annual Chili Fest. He's been having it for the last 5 years since my grandmother passed away. Chili was one of the first things he learned to make on his own so he thought he'd have a big chili cook out for the family. It's become a little bit of a tradition with chili, booze, fireworks, and swimmin' in the creek.

I was so stoked to introduce Wyatt to our family in Maryland. It was all so new to him since he was a baby the last time he saw any of them. It was fine though, my kid is not shy in the least. He acted as if he knew them his whole little life. :)

One of the first things Wyatt noticed upon driving to my family's house from the airport was how green everything was. He kept saying, "There's forests everywhere!" and honestly, it's true. I missed trees. I missed the smell of moisture and grass. ::::sigh::::

Wyatt got to play with all his cousins and that was probably the highlight for him. That and the fact that he was unsupervised quite a bit (with his cousins of course - I figure they're in a group so they'll be alright).

Here are some photos from the trip. I loved seeing my sisters and niece and nephews.

I got 4 ticks, Wyatt had none. I also got really drunk on moonshine cherries. Moonshine will get you very, very drunk. I do not recommend.
